The Kilkenny Fashion week takes places across Kilkenny city from 10th-13th October, 2012.

Enjoy a host of fantastic events – fashion shows, exclusive style workshops, beauty demos and special offers & discounts – showcasing AW’12 in Kilkenny’s department stores, independent boutiques, hotels, restaurants and bars.

All profits from Kilkenny Fashion Week will be be donated to two Kilkenny charities – the Kilkenny Carlow Home Care Team and the Cois Nore Cancer Support Centre.

Wednesday 10th 2012

7.00pm till late – Kilkenny Fashion Week Gala Fashion Show
Venue: Lyrath Estate Hotel

The biggest and most spectacular fashion show the southeast has seen. An all table-seated affair featuring 20 Kilkenny fashion retailers and produced by Ireland’s leading fashion show producer and stylist Catherine Condell. Don’t miss this! Doors open at 7pm. Show commences 8pm sharp. Ticket price includes tapas and wine.

A special free fashion event senior fashionistas: style sessions; a mini fashion show in association with Curves; advice from Forever Living consultants on health & well being and tips from a skincare specialist and make-up artist on the best mature skincare regimes. The finalists of the Kilkenny Fashion Week Student Scholarship will gather to meet the judges in their completed upstyled garments and hear the announcement of the winner. Expect to see some fantastic creations! Venue and reception kindly supplied by The Clubhouse Hotel

6pm-8pm – Kilkenny Fashion Week Late Night Shopping
Venues: Various KKFW stores.

9pm – 11pm Kilkenny Fashion Week Cocktail Competition
Venue: Set Theatre, John Street.
It’s cocktail shakers at dusk for the Kilkenny Fashion Week cocktail competition! Kilkenny’s best mixologists will be shaking it up to see who’s beverage is designated the Kilkenny Fashion Week signature cocktail. The winner will receive a specially-commissioned prize sponsored by Jerpoint Glass. A great night of music, entertainment and flair bar tending!

• Goods is celebrating 85 years on High Street with a “Fashion Through the Decades” party. Staff will be dressed in iconic fashion trends from the 20’s right up through the decades.
