The annual Glanbia Kilkenny Business Awards were held Saturday night at a packed Lyrath Estate Hotel.

The black-tie event was held in the Lyrath Estate Hotel in association with the Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce and Glanbia.

T. Butler Engineering scooped, having earlier in the night been named Exporter of the Year picked up the coveted overall ‘Business of the year’ award

Richard Cook, founder of the Cat Laughs comedy festival, Kilkenomics and artistic director for Subtitle was the recipient of this year’s Presidents Award as chosen by Chamber president Martin Costello or Murphy Jewellers in Kilkenny city.

The prestigious ‘lifetime achievement award’ was presented to Pat Nolan for more than 40 years contribution to the county.

The KCLR sponsored Excellence in Communications award went to the Kilkenny Tourism team.
