Visitor numbers for Savour festival up nearly 10 thousand on last year

Organisers of the Savour Kilkenny food festival say this year was the busiest and best-attended to date.
Up to 25 thousand people visited the Marble City over the weekend – an increase of almost 10 thousand on last year.
Over 100 local and national food producers set up stalls on the Parade over the weekend while others hosted events in other areas around the county.
Festival Director Marian Flannery told KCLR News they hadn’t anticipated that it would be such a success.
