LOCAL MEN NO LONGER 'STUCK FOR WORDS'

| Three Kilkenny men who never had to rely on their literacy skills until they lost their jobs due to the deflated Celtic Tiger are now taking it upon themselves to learn what they previously thought unimportant. Tom Walsh, Kieran Kane and Martin O’Shea, all from Kilkenny, will feature in an RTE One show ‘Stuck for Words’. The three men met last year when they enrolled in adult literacy classes with Word Aid, where they became firm friends. The men face the challenge of writing a sports article on the Kilkenny Hurling team which will feature in the Kilkenny People. |
