FOOD TRAIL LAUNCHED IN COUNTY

| Trail Kilkenny and Kilkenny Leader Partnership have between them come up with a new concept in showcasing the county’s food products. The Taste of Kilkenny Food Trail was launched last week by Ross Golden-Bannon of “Food and Wine Magazine” and it will include the specialities of thirty-eight food producers and restaurants throughout the county. Included among them are Lavistown gourmet sausages, Goatsbridge Trout Farm, Knockdrinna Farmhouse cheese and two restaurants in Kilkenny city, Campagne and Zuni. A detailed map and guide has been designed which will make it easy for visitors to follow the trail. |
